Crossfading is used by radio and club DJs alike. It allows for seamless transitions between tracks: simultaneously fading out the volume of the current song, while fading in the volume of the up-coming song.
Crossfading between tracks in Winamp is very simple with the built-in crossfader. From Bento, be sure you have your EQ in focus: View >> Equalizer (for a complete equalizer tutorial, see our post on how to use the equalizer).
At the top of your EQ view, you will notice the crossfader toggle. The toggle allows you to enable/disable crossfading, as well as adjust the time interval.
The built-in Winamp crossfader works perfectly, but for those of you who like options, you can search our plug-in gallery for alternatives.
